- Ziprasidone. Appeared in 2001. Dosage - 80-160 mg a day. Exprapyramidal symptoms are unlikely to develop. Diabetes and weigh gain are probable but the risk to develop these side-effects is lower than in the others. Nevertheless, it might cause cardiac arrhythmia.
- Clozapine. Appeared in 1990. Dosage - 300-700 mg a day. Lowers suicidal behaviors. It can influence the white blood cells count so the patient’s blood should be monitored regularly. The risk of diabetes and weight gain is high.
